Project Access rights Tab
Allows you to define access rights on a given project.
Displays list of available Roles/Entities defined in your different Organizations to be dragged and dropped in Access right's type area.
To remove a role/entity from an Access right's type area, use 'Delete' (or 'Fn'+'Backspace' on a Mac) on your keyboard.
Access right's type
Allows you to define which Roles/Entities defined in your different Organizations have which rights on this given project. 3 types of access rights are available for a given project :
- Designer: users that belong to Roles/Entities authorized will be able to modify any resources of the project or to launch process / web interface in test or live state.
- Supervisor: users that belong to Roles/Entities authorized won't be able to modify any resources of the project but will be able to launch process / web interface in test state only and to monitor launched process. They will also be able to see all manual tasks created thanks to web interface reports.
- User: users that belong to Roles/Entities authorized will only be able to launch web interface in live state or to see task they have to perform. They won't be able to see the process that they have launched (no task to perform) : you have to give them a Supervisor access right and filter in web interface report on "Started by" = "Current user" so that they can see process they have launched.
Access right according to resources/action :
Any project's resources: only Designer of a project can create, read, modify, delete a resource of a project (except for report : see below)
Report: only Designer and supervisor of a project can create, modify, delete a report of a project. User can read them.
Launch a process: only Designer can launch process in test state, only user can launch process in live state
Launched process: only supervisor can delete or relaunch (ie. modify) a launched process
Put a version into production: only supervisor can put a version into production, not a Designer
Lanes/Entities: lanes/entities used in a project can only be modified by Designer and supervisor
All resources of a given project will have same access rights type. If you need different access rights on some web interfaces (for instance) of your project, create a new project with appropriate access rights and add it to your current project.
Access rights defined on a given project have no impact on access rights defined in included projects of this project.
A user with Administrator profile has all access rights on all projects
