v0.8.0 (August 13th, 2020)

Enhancements

Module Enhancement Link
Project Configuration This second version of the Project Configuration module provides the complete functionality required to work on all types of resource belonging to a project. New options are available to duplicate resources, detach them from their project, or directly move them from one project to another. The detach and move operations are available for any type of resource except for collections and individual connectors. Duplication is not possible for collections, custom lists, and providers. Project Configuration
Resources A new module, Resources, enables access to all the web interfaces, processes, reports, collections, composite APIs, custom lists, providers, and connectors of a customer account, independent on whether they are assigned to projects. As its major features, the new module offers the search and reuse of resources across project boundaries. For the resources, a selected set of actions is available, including the new detach, move, and duplication options introduced in the Project Configuration module, with the same restrictions. Resources
ProcessModeler This new version of the ProcessModeler comes with design enhancements and usability improvements, such as zooming in/out on the process design, exporting the design to PDF, or the ability to create and access web interfaces that launch a process.
As with its first release, the ProcessModeler is not backwards compatible. This means that processes, composite APIs, and instances created in DigitalSuite Studio cannot be opened in the Advanced IDE.
The transition of existing processes, composite APIs, and instances from the Advanced IDE to DigitalSuite Studio is not yet included in this version, but will be available soon.

v0.7.8 (July 23rd, 2020)

Enhancements

Module Enhancement Link
Composite API The redesigned module for designing, configuring, and testing composite APIs is now available. Similar to the new ProcessModeler, the Composite API module comes with an improved user experience through a modernized interface, and offers a number of functional enhancements, for example, a modified grid and a manual spacemaker.
Composite APIs allow the user to speed up the execution of task sequences, improve listener performance in web interfaces, and compose APIs by creating a sequence of web service calls for internal or external use.
Note the following restrictions:
  • In this first version, users can only create new composite APIs. Managing existing composite APIs that were created with the Advanced IDE will be supported in the next version of DigitalSuite Studio.
  • There is no backwards compatibility. Once a composite API is created with the new Composite API module in DigitalSuite Studio, it cannot be opened in the Advanced IDE.
Composite API
Connector Library The all new transformed Connector Library comes with a new and more modern design and a more user-friendly interface. It allows the user to import pre-built connectors from different providers that offer services to be integrated into applications. Connector Library
