  1. Access Rights

Access to DigitalSuite Studio

A basic account setting defines how the access to DigitalSuite Studio is controlled for all users that belong to your customer account. Find the corresponding setting in the Account Configuration module > Account tab > Access rights section.

Access as Set in Administration Applications

Access authorizations as set in your administration applications means reusing the access rights defined in the administration applications for DigitalSuite Studio. If the access rights setting As set in administration applications is enabled, user access to DigitalSuite Studio is controlled as follows:

  1. User’s with an Administrator profile have full access to all DigitalSuite Studio modules while those with a User profile cannot access the Account Configuration and Usage Report module. Note that in addition to the authorizations based on the profile, a specific role must be assigned to a user (see below).
You set a user’s profile in the user’s account settings in the User Management module.

  2. Access restrictions enabled on a user's account limit the access to certain modules.
You can remove the restrictions. Find the user's details in the User Management module:
You can disable the checkbox on the Restrictions tab that prevents access to DigitalSuite Studio.
You can disable the checkbox on the Restrictions tab that prevents a user from accessing the data of other users belonging to the account in the User Management module.
You can disable the checkbox on the Restrictions tab that prevents access to the Advanced IDE. This option must also be disabled if a user needs access to all DigitalSuite Studio modules.

  3. A user must have been assigned a role with access rights of type User in the projects below in order to enable access to the corresponding module.
You can assign the role in the following projects, as required:
RunMyProcess – My Settings project for the My Settings module
RunMyProcess – User Management project for the User Management module
RunMyProcess – Usage Report project for the Usage Report module

Access Independent of Administration Applications

If the access rights setting As set in administration applications is disabled, user access to DigitalSuite Studio is controlled as follows:

  1. By the user’s profile in the user’s account settings.
User’s with an Administrator profile have full access to all DigitalSuite Studio modules while those with a User profile cannot access the Account Configuration and Usage Report module.
You set a user’s profile in the user’s account settings in the User Management module.

  2. By the access restrictions enabled on a user’s account.
You can remove the restrictions. Find the user's details in the User Management module:
You can disable the checkbox on the Restrictions tab that prevents access to the Advanced IDE.
You can disable the checkbox on the Restrictions tab that prevents access to DigitalSuite Studio.
You can disable the checkbox on the Restrictions tab that prevents a user from accessing the data of other users belonging to the account in the User Management module.
