Working with Flash Player
Flash Player has been a key web technology that has helped shape the interactivity of the web as we know it. In recent years, however, we have witnessed the arrival of a new generation of web technologies, which the industry is now moving towards. Adobe is, therefore, phasing out its support for Flash Player, and will cease to update and distribute the plugin at the end of 2020.
As we get closer to this date, web browser vendors have also started to phase out Flash Player. This means that you may need to enable Flash Player on your browser before you can access applications that use it, including the Advanced IDE. This is because, in the run-up to the end of support for Flash, web browser vendors are providing Flash as a click-to-run plugin.
To find out how to enable Flash Player in your preferred browser, please follow the links that Adobe provides here.
Enabling Flash on your browser is a temporary solution. At RunMyProcess, we have been busy reinventing the Advanced IDE using a new generation of web technologies. Find out more about our DigitalSuite Studio Transformation.
